Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over twenty years. Most well-known is for her performance in House on Fox. She grew up in Wayne, in a conservative Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18 she moved in New York City to study at the Tisch School for the Arts. Her performance quickly made her a part of the club scene in New York. The performances she gave were so impressive that local media took notice. She used both her experience in the music industry and public recognition to make and appear in a brand new musical called Positive Me. Soon after, she was offered a job at MTV, hosting Awake on the Wild Side. Her first appearances in TV and film shows after the show ended. At first, she appeared in small roles.
