Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14, 1970) is an American singer, actress, writer and director. She was best known as Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she produced the show, directed it and even starred in her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson, her mother was a psychologist as well as the wife of Diane Benson, was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 1977. Danielle is her elder sister who is also an artist. Benson went to an Reform Jewish synagogue when she was growing up. Her mother was a Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father is too Jewish. After Buffy was cancelled, Benson was in films like The Killing Jar and on shows like Morganville The Series. In front of the camera, she used her writing talents in writing her character Ghosts of Albion and direct projects like the 2010's Drones.
