Kelly Clarkson was an American musician and singer who became America's Sweetheart once she took home American Idol during the initial season of the series. The singer was not just an instant star following her win, but she also got a record deal with RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for several albums. The singer has since released numerous studio albums. The three albums reached the US Billboard 200 chart, but others barely missed it. She is one of the top artists who come out of the American Idol series. In the years that followed her success, she tried different topics and styles of music, often creating songs with her personal feelings. For her uniqueness and vocal skills, she earned high praise and numerous accolades. She has been awarded the Grammy Award 3 times. As well as her musical professional career, she has also played on television and films. In addition, she wrote the picture book for kids River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been associated with a number of charities.
